In X-SENS the cross-section topics Sensors, Control and Connectivity are addressed. The use of Zero CO₂ fuels in Low Carbon Special Powertrains rises special demands on control strategies and sensors. This ranges from the need for ultra-low-cost fuel type sensing via model based sensors via novel combustion control methods with lowest demand on computational power to connectivity issues which rise out of increasing demands for maintenance and diagnoses.
