Area X
All research topics with basic research and cross-sectional character have been combined in three strategic projects and in one strategic area.As all partners participate in this area, the topics have access to the information in the projects from Area Fuel and Hybrid and the basic research information is available for all partners. The projects cover the topics life cycle analysis in early design phase (X-LCA), fuel relevant basic research (X-Fuel) and the topics Sensor & Control (X-Sens). These strategic projects support the research work in the other projects with information and knowledge from basic research and they can trigger special investigations needed for their basic research work.
